Communities

A community is a smaller board inside InteractInk built around one specific topic, fandom, hobby, or interest — a focused space rather than the general firehose of the main feed. Every community has its own timeline made up of posts from just its members, so if you'd rather follow a single topic closely instead of scrolling past everything else, joining a community is the way to do it. Anyone can browse a community's posts; you'll need a free account to join one, post in it, or reply.

Search or scroll the list above to find one that fits what you're into, then hit Join. Once you're in, its posts show up when you visit the community directly, and you can post and reply there like you would anywhere else on InteractInk. Not interested anymore? You can leave just as easily — there's no cooldown or penalty for joining and leaving communities as your interests change.

Don't see a community for what you're into? Use the + Create button above to start one. You'll pick a name and a short description explaining what it's about — the clearer that description, the easier it is for the right people to find it later. Once it exists, anyone can find and join it from this page, same as any other community. Creating a community makes you responsible for what it becomes, so it's worth taking a minute to think about what you want it to be before you post the first thing in it.

Use the search box above to look by name or description if you already know roughly what you want. Otherwise, the All tab lists every community with the most-joined ones first, so browsing there is a decent way to see what already exists before starting something new. The Joined tab is just the communities your own account is a member of, so it's a quick way back to the ones you actually check.
